| In their phenomenal career Big Country opened for The Jam, Alice Cooper and U2 before hitting the charts world wide with songs such as Chance, Fields Of Fire and In A Big Country, selling over ten million albums, the Dunfermline group went onto support David Bowie, Elton John and the Rolling Stones as well as headlining in their own right. Since then Bruce has added his trademark guitar to a multitude of diverse artists such as Fish, Bruce Foxton (The Jam). Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats) Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) as well as being musical director for the Frankie Miller tribute concert. Now performing with his son Jamie, they were asked to provide the guitar sound that contributed to the success of another Dunfermline band, The Skids on their recent 30th Anniversary shows, and will be doing so again on their sold out appearance at the Alhambra in March. Bookings have been taken from as far away as America, Denmark and Germany for the up and coming show at Abbot House which will be a certain sell-out. Tickets priced £12 are on sale at Abbot House, 733266 and Third Base Records on 722554. Bruce and Jamie will also take the opportunity to launch their début album 'Another Anthem For The Damned' on the same night.
